Action Camera or Underwater Housing for your Mirrorless/DSLRI found this great video from Premium Beat that outlines the differences between shooting underwater footage or photos using an action camera like a GoPro, or Osmo action cam versus using a good quality underwater housing for your mirrorless or DSLR camera. Now, I've never really shot anything major underwater, but I have taken my GoPro to the beach and dunked it in the rivers, and captured some cool stuff with it. I can see the benefits of both, like Zach in the video points out, and hopefully, it will give you all some insight into whether you should be using either/or...or maybe both!
